weekend spam
well this weekend was full of achievements (well, compared to last weekend which culminated in getting five gold stars on Asia's Heat Of The Moment the first time i played it as YOURMOTHER.)
- I got mom a mothers day present (for like the first time in years - i = bad child)
- i finally got the final two seasons of farscape \o/ (now i only have to get the peacekeeper wars and i officially win for that moment)
- went to casino after the comedy thing to pick up Manna's drunk friend (who was at a work party/thing) and Manna taught me how to lose money. \o/
- kind of maybe got hit on by semifriend during comedy thing (semi friend is like, my boss's best friend's little brother, who is my age. but im kind of vague!friends with all of them. kind of like im vague!friends with most people... i guess..... is that bad?)
- spent a bit too much money, but not so much that im actually worried about it XP
- think i may have figured out best way of presenting zombie!story in a people-acceptable, suke-doable way. also. zombies. whats your favourite kind? (i bold, because you'll notice it when your skimming/ignoring the rest of this post XP)
- finally used last years birthday gift card \o/
- have my mothers credit card \o/ (i needed it for proof of purchase thingy. not actually to use ^^;;.. mostly because she'd kill me XP)
- may or maynot have koi in my fish pond. theyre supposed to be there, but my fishpond is mucky and full of dust and . I DONT KNOW. plus maybe the cats ate them? but if they were dead (and the cats hadnt eaten them) they'd be floating right? so. chances are, I HAVE KOI. (at least, i think i got given koi.. ) I HAVE FISH! IN MY POND!
- got SPN:Rising Son first issue. \o/ and .. wormwood:gentlemancorpse-four-of-four (?) (i cant remember and i am entirely too lazy to make the two steps to the couch to find out so fuck you)
- also found out about new comics coming out \o/. (a preview thingy from empire) and i want them all (which sucks because comic!buy-y is kind of expensive yo.) but yeah.
Dresden Files comic FTMFW.
Odd Thomas comic FTMFW. (from the preview its differnet stories which is awesome, although i think the art may eventually make me want to cut me eyes out, yugioh!people scare me more than they should, but the first book (odd thomas), of which this is based on, breaks my heart EVERY FREAKING TIME i read it)
Dean Koontz's Frankenstein comic FTMFW. (i dont know if youve read this series (of books), (or even if you read dean koontz books, i do. i love dean koontz like woah, ever since i read Dragon Tears when i was little *luffs*) but i love it and its awesome!awesome-sauce. although the last book hasnt come out yet even though the websites say it kind maybe shouldve and *poom-poom*)
George.R.R.Martin's Wild Cards comic FTW. (apparently its from a series he did in the late eighties, dont trust me though coz i only kind of skimmmed the blurb and my skimming sometimes goes fuckoff wrong, but am i the only one who, everytime i see Hedge Knight, this or Dream Songs, has to physically restrain myself from send George a picture of RobertJordan/JamesOliverRigbyJr with a note saying DONT YOU FUICKING DARE LEAVE ME HANGING YOU SON OF A BITCH, VAGUE THREATS IN DIRECTION OF YOUR GRAVE AND CORPSE. it may be just me)
- also Cloverfield is supposed to be coming out on dvd on the 22nd, according to Empire!counter!man. (i have the biggest urge to watch it again like woah.)
I think that may be all my news. now i must go watch psych and sort out this pile of coin!shrapnel. \o/
